Upon an initiation of Pushkin library “East Kazakhstan Memory” project work continues. Our purpose: creating e-database in terms of digitizing rare local science publications, periodicals, photo materials from oblast and regional libraries. Now, seating at home, you can get introduced with books fund resources of Pushkin library, regional libraries, and EKO Abai library.

 The day before Europe Championship 2012 in Poland and Ukraine 172 Kazakhstani 9, 10th grades school students who study German as a second language will play a football on German Ambassador Cup. 17 teams from Central, Eastern and Northern Kazakhstan will meet on tournament in Petropavlovsk (May 4), in Astana (May 11) and Ust-Kamenogorsk (May 18). |

 On May 13 there was a brain-ring in Pushkin library that was led by special guest – Yevgeni Nechayev. The teams had to answer 60 questions. The answers should be given not only right but fast as well. |
