On August 27, 2021, at 15.00 the Online zoom meeting will take place. The topic of the meeting is "Tragedy of the Century", the special guest is unique person. He is the sculptor, artist-florist, woodworker, member of the anti-nuclear movement "Nevada-Semipalatinsk" Kurman Abaevich Aimukhanbetov.

Because of the devastating explosions at the Semipalatinsk test site, thousands of people were injured. Radiation has affected several generations and affected the health of many people. Kurman Aitmukhanbetov, who is not indifferent to the fate of his compatriots, spoke about this through sculptures. Each sculpture has its own history and secrets.
The famous Semipalatinsk master Kurman Abaevich Aimukhanbetov was born in 1956 in the city of Shaueshek in China. He is one of our brothers who have returned to their homeland in recent years.
Kurman Abaevich is a sculptor who devoted 28 years of his life to the topic of the landfill. Permanent participant in thematic exhibitions "The Tragedy of the Semipalatinsk Test Site" in the country. These works have received recognition and high awards. His virtuoso sculptures show the irreparable suffering of people. In particular, the sculptor's works include "Monster Man", "Mother's Tears", "Animal Man", "Consequences of the Test Site", "15-Year-Old Disabled Child", "Mushroom of Death", "Love Is Stronger than Death", etc. The collection of more than 30 sculptures touches the human soul. These works were presented in 2016 in the capital of our country in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Polygon in the library of the First President, the Second Regional Forum and the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Mir. XXI Century".

Each exhibition is terrifying and thought-provoking. This is a type of souls living among us. They just suffer. Those who suffer because of someone else's mistake. - says Kurman aha.
