WhatsApp Image 2021 10 26 at 16.27.34On October 27, 2021, at 15.00 on the Zoom platform, an online meeting "City over the Slaughter" will be held, which is dedicated to the anniversary date. In 2021, Shemonaikha celebrates the 255th anniversary of its foundation and the 60th anniversary of the moment it was awarded the status of a city.
The names of the city are associated with names known far beyond the borders of our region: A. Ivanov, G. Grebenshchikov, I. Astafiev, Serikkazy Bekbosunov, V.I. Zubko and many others.
You will have a unique opportunity to take part in an online tour of the local history museum, the pride of Shemonaikha, which for more than 48 years has been one of the best in East Kazakhstan. The staff of the museum and library will acquaint with the exhibits of the museum, with the history of the city, with its interesting people.
We invite to the meeting local historians, historians, our young generation, everyone who is interested in and who cares about the land where he was born and raised.
After all, love for a small homeland, knowledge of its history is the basis on which the growth of the spiritual culture of the entire society can be carried out. We will always be grateful to our native land for a bright childhood and a start in life.
