Along with teaching, he also works in the field of translation and translates the works of famous Chinese writers into the Kazakh language. Duken Masimkhanuly said that his uncle taught him the art of poetry, and that his grandfather was a well-known orator, and recited some wonderful poems from his collection of poems dedicated to his native country.
