USAID AND ABA ROLI TRAIN THE LEGAL BASICS OF THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS IN KAZAKHSTAN

On September 13, A.S. In East Kazakhstan regional library named after Pushkin, within the framework of the Rule of Law Program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), implemented by the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), in cooperation with the Committee on Civil Society Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (AKDM), A seminar on the legal basis of the law-making process was held in Kazakhstan.

The seminar was attended by leaders of civil society, representatives of non-governmental organizations, deputies of the maslikhat of East Kazakhstan region and Uskemen city, as well as members of the Public Council of East Kazakhstan region. In addition, the chairman of the Committee on Civil Society Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development, Kozhakhmet Madiya, the developers of the educational tool, the director of the Research Institute of Public Law of Caspian University, Roman Podoprigora, and junior researcher Zakir Kudaibergenov took part. As a result of the seminar, the issues of law enforcement practice, procedures for expert examination of legal drafts were discussed, and examples from the experience of experts were reviewed.
